Assessment Appeals Process

If you have a grievance as a result of a method of assessment that you have participated in, you are assured of a full and fair hearing.

 

The following is the Assessment Appeals Procedure:


1.  Tell your assessor what your grievance is; who should then explain fully the reasons for the result.


2.   If you are still unhappy with the result, you should request to see an Internal

Verifier, who if necessary can arrange:

    another Assessor to assess you

    to use another method of assessment

    another Assessment Venue

 

 

The alternative measures will be fully discussed with you, so as to reach an agreement that is satisfactory to you. If you are still not satisfied, please contact the External Verifier in writing. Arrangements will be made for you to speak to them; this will normally be within working seven days. Global London College management will be happy to assist you in this matter.

 

 

At any stage in the procedure you may be accompanied by a parent, guardian, friend, student representative, or anyone who can help you state your case. All documentation of appeals will be kept securely by the local examinations representative. Confidentiality will be maintained where appropriate.

 

If you are not satisfied with External Verifiers decision, you may contact the awarding body.
