Global London College Students Visit Battle of Hastings
Students from Global London College recently visited the historic site of the Battle of Hastings, gaining a deeper understanding of one of the most significant events in British history.
The trip took them to Battle Abbey in East Sussex, where they walked the very grounds where William the Conqueror’s Norman army defeated King Harold II in 1066, changing the course of England’s future.
During the visit, students explored the battlefield, imagining the fierce clashes that shaped the nation. They also toured Battle Abbey, learning about its origins and the impact of Norman rule on England. Engaging exhibits and interactive displays helped bring history to life, making the experience both educational and immersive.
