These are our core management qualifications which include progression to University degrees. They also provide progression from levels 3 to 7 and were developed with input from colleges, higher education institutions and sector skills councils.
Including a range of optional units at every level these qualifications allow centres and learners to specialise in different areas whilst using the mandatory units to develop core knowledge required by all managers.
ATHE Business and Administrative Management Qualifications are designed to provide learners with enhanced job prospects in a range of industries. There is a core selection of generic management subjects such as Human Resources, Marketing, Finance and Strategy and a wide selection of optional specialisms such as Ethics, Islamic Finance and European Business.
The Level 4 Diploma in Business and Administrative Management is a 120 credit size qualification, equivalent in size and level to the first year of a bachelor’s degree and is part of a flexible suite of administrative management qualifications.

The Level 5 Diploma in Business and Administrative Management is a 120 credit size qualification, equivalent in size and level to the second year of a bachelor’s degree.
At level 5, learners are expected to understand the more strategic aspects of business administration as well as governance structure and organisational context. Learners must achieve a minimum of 120 credits to achieve the qualification. They must complete the nine mandatory units, worth 100 credits and two optional units worth a minimum of 20 credits.

It has been designed for learners who wish to progress to a business or management degree but may not have the traditional entry qualifications usually required.
The qualification provides learners with an introduction to the business environment as well as key academic, research and communication skills to support learners in their development.
Learners must complete 4 mandatory units worth 60 credits to achieve the ATHE Level 3 Diploma in Business.
